
Create your own list
You can add words to your vocabulary using the regular dictionary search (input field on page top), then clicking the empty space between the English and the German word and choosing "Add to my vocabulary" from the appearing menu.In case of problems please try to enable Cookies for dict.cc in your internet settings.
If you want to type in your own vocabulary, you can also go to my.dict.cc, click "Maintain" next to the name of your list, then click "Add" at the following page.
How do I make my list public?
Click "Maintain" next to your list at the overview page, then tick the box "publicly visible" and save the form.How do I delete my list?
Click "Maintain" next to your list at the overview page, delete all the entries and save the list. You will now find a "Delete" link at the overview page.Vocabulary trainer: Several correct answers
If there are several correct translations of a particular word in the list, only one possibility is classified as correct for each question. The other possibilities are displayed by clicking the link "Not searched for" right below the input field.Additionally it's possible to enter [space] instead of typing the first letter. This way the first letter is entered automatically, so you can exclude the other possibilities. If necessary press [space] once more.

Space - shows next correct letter.Dot - starts voice output.
Enter - Answer unknown.
Vocabulary trainer: Unwanted voice output
The voice output starts every time a dot is entered. To avoid this, just press the space bar instead of typing the dot.Vocabulary trainer: Choose box
